Bio

Laura Swenson (b. 1992) is a photographer based in San Francisco, California. She received her BS in Product Design from Stanford University in 2015 and worked as a User Experience Researcher for seven years at Autodesk, IBM, and Google, where she conducted ethnographic research to inform the design of software products.

She completed a certificate in Documentary Practice & Visual Journalism from the International Center of Photography in New York City in June, 2022. These days, she works in a rare map library as she pursues various photo projects from Northern California. She is a dual citizen of the United States and the Netherlands.
